Please meet my son, Owen Douglas Simpkins, born October 19, 2009, at 11:53 a.m. via C-section, weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 1 oz. No, I did not have gestational diabetes.
His birth story will have to wait for another day. I'm learning how to be a mum, and it's quite overwhelming. Of course I knew life would be different, but you're really not prepared for it, no matter how many times people tell you. 360 degrees in a minute.
He's quite the little man, and I'm finally enjoying the time to get to know him.
I just had to say Congrats on here too! He is so beautiful! Looking forward to hearing his birth story, when you have the time/energy. Amazing how life changes an instant hey? Enjoy these moments and give him an extra little snuggle from me! xo
