Listography
Since I'm at home most days with Owen, I spend a lot of time on the computer. I didn't think it was possible to lose oneself in the internet as much as I have when he's napping, but it is. Upon my travels, I came across the series of Listography books and immediately fell in love. As a listmaker, this kind of shortform autobiography was irresistable. I ordered the book from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. I think I'll pick one list at random each Wednesday and start another blog.

He loves music!
Cradle Club was a hit again this morning. He is such a little heartbreaker!
He has been taking longer naps in the afternoons, albeit on my chest in the Moby wrap or in his swing, but he has started sleeping for longer stretches at night (4 hours! the other night he slept for six!) and feeds only once, maybe twice, a night. I hear there is something called the four-month regression, when sleeping habits go all to heck. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Cradle Club
Owen and I attended our first music class this morning. I was really worried that he would start fussing and embarrass me, but he loved it! He was mesmerized by the other babies and kept looking around the room with his big blue eyes. He cooed and laughed and smiled, even when I put him on his back...and he hates being on his back.
I think he was one of the younger babies in the class. Most of the babies were sitting up or crawling. I sat him up and supported him and got a little teary, looking at my little baby boy sitting up instead of in my arms or laying down was a real eye opener - he's growing so fast! He's up to 16.5 pounds now and full of chubby goodness.

Over the last few weeks, I've changed my thinking. Instead of getting stressed out by what he wants, I am focussing on what I can give him. This simple shift in thinking has really made being a mum much easier.
